End of the year fieldtrip!

We went to the San Antonio Zoo for Trey's class trip. I think there was a total of 75 people from his class alone (kids plus parents and siblings). Trey's dad, Michael and I went with Trey. He had a blast! His friend Gavin hung out with us during the tour of the zoo as well. Two 7 year old boys are sooooooooo funny! Their conversations are priceless!

The flamingos were STINKY

Trey fed the birds nectar.
This is all the hippos showed us!

As Trey would say, "this is Kaitlyn, my girlfriend of 3 years"

He was pooped....

I love my job!

Since it is hot enough for swimming early in the morning, that is what we are going to start doing. The first attempt didn't go all that well...screaming at the top of their lungs...but the second attempt was a huge success. I took them to my neighborhood pool for a little more one on one time. They were timid at first, but after 20 min of LOTS of encouragement, they were jumping of the side to me! They had a blast with "Auntie Shea" and hopefully being scared of the pool will be a thing of the past!

Final Baseball Pictures

This was Trey's final game for the Spring season. They lost the tournament game, but played better than they ever have.

Baseball is over...

Well, the baseball season is over, and we are sad to say that Trey did not make All-Stars. The coaches think that he is a great ball player, but has a problem with crying. Trey hates to make mistakes in baseball, so when another player gets him out, or if Trey himself makes a mistake, he usually sheds some tears. The coaches that were scouting for the All-Star team saw every last tear. So...this is a great lesson for Trey! He knows why he didn't make the team, and is pumped for a summer full of baseball, and another shot at the All-Star team next year. Trey will be going to the Bowie High School baseball camp, and also the UT Baseball camp! Rest assure that we will be informing the summer coaches at these camps about Trey's little (crying) problem and maybe they can work on that with him! Trey's team, the Oakland A's, had a very good Spring season! They had a record of 16-4-1 which is AWESOME!!!

Happy 50th Birthday James

Our dear friend James works overseas in Saudia Arabia. He doesn't get to come home very often, so when he got a 2 week leave, his wife and sister planned a surprise 50th birthday at the Round Rock Express. He loves baseball and loved it even more when they presented him with passes to sit in the new Intel Box Seats. It is directly above home plate, air conditioned, waitress, alcohol, food...the list goes on and on. Aurelio and I were invited, and gladly accepted!!! A big thank you goes out to Janis and Carren for inviting us, and a huge thank you to James for fighting for our country!

Play-date!!

One of my best friends, Jennifer, also nannies twins. Now that summer is here....we throw all 4 boys in the pool! We tried to have races....blue floaties vs. green floaties....the boys didn't want to play, they just sat there...oh well! From left to right, G, C, D, W. These boys play so well together and it also gives Jennifer and I a little time to have "adult talk" during the morning. (Yes, yes, D is picking his nose)
